The Beton Hala Waterfront Center will become a center for innovation and inspiration. It continues the Kalemegdan Park and connects the Belgrade Fortress with the Sava River. Open areas in this new urban space will accommodate cultural, commercial and leisure programs while the layout of the buildings opens outwards to the surrounding context, seamlessly integrating nature and buildings. Sustainability parameters guide the landscaping and management, as the site’s ventilation, rain water management, natural light and green landscaping are important factors for the local climate. The Beton Hala Waterfront Center will be a new landmark for Belgrade.
