J.MAYER.H would like to thank all of our partners and friends for many rewarding collaborations and a fantastic 2015 -- a year in which we were able to realize a number of national and international projects with great enthusiasm and success. 2016 will continue our dynamic development with many exciting projects in the United States, Asia, and Europe. March will mark J.MAYER.H's third exhibition and presentation at MIPIM in Cannes. In April, we will open our solo exhibition at the Haus am Waldssee, Berlin with an immersive installation, architecture models, and sketches from our archive that will be exhibited for the first time.We look forward to continuing our productive collaborations with you, and sharing an exciting 2016. OPENING OF HANDS-ON

On September 22nd the successful opening of HANDS-ON - an ECOLA exhibit at STO Werkstatt, London took place. The design by J. MAYER H. creates a unique experiential environment, rich in texture and materiality, through which the ECOLA winning projects will be displayed. The sculpture is a multi-functional object serving as seating and a forum for discussion of the award winning projects, which will be projected onto the surrounding walls.   More information about HANDS-ON...  24.09.2015

HANDS-ON AN ECOLA EXHIBIT

23rd September – 27th November 2015, Sto Werkstatt, Clerkenwell, London, HANDS-ON is designed by German architecture practice J. MAYER. H and draws its source material from The ECOLA Award Archives. The European Conference of Leading Architects (ECOLA) Awards is an international architecture competition managed by German architecture magazine AIT that focuses on render and plaster as building materials and how their use can define the quality of architectural design. The HANDS-ON exhibition presents all of the winning projects spanning from 2006 up to this year’s awards judged in May 2015, chaired by Sir Peter Cook.   04.09.2015

Forecast Forum, An international platform that promotes emerging talents 2015, Aug 28, Fri — 2015, Aug 30, Sun, Forecast is an international platform that promotes emerging talents and gives them the opportunity to realize their own projects side-by-side with renowned mentors. Thereby, Forecast offers insights into artistic production processes in a diverse variety of genres and reveals how creative decisions are reached. More than 360 applicants from 70 countries responded to the international call for proposals and submitted their project ideas to Forecast. The mentors Markus Diebel (design), Lars Petter Hagen (composition), Eric Joris (scientific fiction), Jürgen Mayer H. (architecture), Bas Princen (photography) and Barbara Vanderlinden (curating) offer 30 participants the opportunity to introduce themselves and their ideas to the public at the Forecast Forum between August 28 and 30.   31.08.2015
